T1: Pilbara Tour

The post-conference Pilbara tour on 25-26 July 2019 will be a two-day visit to a number of key operations in the famous Pilbara region of Western Australia. Delegates will take an early morning charter flight on 25 July from Perth to the Pilbara to see a range of operations, including iron ore export facilities as well as a number of mine sites encompassing both well established and new operations mining a range of different ore types.

Dinner and accommodation on the night of 25 July as well as lunches and breakfast on the morning of 26 July are included in the cost of the tour. At the end of the site visits on 26 July, delegates will board their charter flight back to Perth, where the tour will conclude at around 8pm.

Closed safety shoes or boots, long trousers and long sleeved shirts are required for the tour. Any additional safety clothing will be provided at each site visited. All bookings are subject to mine site approval.
